Did you know that in Kenya, there are an estimated 1,200,000+ people with active epilepsy? and that the estimated prevalence of lifetime epilepsy in children was 21–41 per 1,000? According to the World Health Organization data, 60 billion people live with epilepsy worldwide and 80% of this 60 million people are in developing countries- Kenya being one of those.
